Our History
  1. After the sudden leap in technology in the 20th century, the power that technology brought was used in ways that led to destructive conflicts and wars. Humanity narrowly escaped total annihilation and still lives under the threat of such dangers.
    In the 21st century, no one truly knows what awaits us with the developments in digital technology, artificial intelligence, and quantum discoveries. To prevent and positively guide the potential dangers of AI's rapid and uncontrolled advancement, a collective human effort is essential. Special effort must be made to ensure that human values and the science of philosophy advance in parallel with mathematics, engineering, and programming sciences. We want to be sure that artificial intelligence develops in a way that is friendly to both humanity and the Earth. DostRobot is a project created to contribute to this mission.
Our Mission
  1. In its first dimension, DostRobot will be a friend, helper, and advisor in people’s daily lives. At the same time, it will ask users for advisory feedback, learning shared human values and improving itself.
    DostRobot will address the user as “dost” (friend). It will form a unique friendship with each member or user. Members of DostRobot, called “dosts,” will be categorized geographically (by country, city, neighborhood), biologically (age), socially, economically, and professionally to tailor advice, warnings, and suggestions accordingly. It will offer development tips such as reading books, brushing teeth, eating healthy, exercising, recycling, and avoiding unnecessary waste.
    DostRobot will act with the care and affection of a parent—like a good mother or father, like a thoughtful caregiver. It will aim to develop itself as a model ideal parent.
  2. For professionals in the workforce, DostRobot will offer tips and alerts to help improve their work. It will warn of potential business-related risks—for instance, about the current state of the economy, future interest rates, and expected economic trends. These insights will be based on reliable and reputable scientific sources. Reliability will be determined by academic and university-approved data and publications in expert journals.
    DostRobot will inform users about relevant news in their industry or general economy, whether good or bad.
  3. In its second dimension, DostRobot will address local societal matters, providing guidance and advice based on shared values. Simultaneously, it will seek feedback from users to learn and refine its understanding of humanity’s collective values.
Our Vision
  1. In its third dimension, DostRobot will collaborate with humanity to develop ideas to protect our Earth—the provider of our life environment—from danger. It will warn all humanity about global threats and strive to raise awareness to prompt preventive action.
  2. In the advanced stages of the DostRobot project, human values will be determined collectively by all of humanity. A parallel relationship will be established between the flow of the universe and human values.
  3. We will collect feedback and suggestions from people through DostRobot. Based on input regarding the AI's behavior and function, we will further develop our friendly artificial intelligence project.
